MENAFIF 2019

It was a privilege to co-host the Middle East and North Africa Financial Institutions Forum in Dubai in September 2019. We brought together many European and Middle Eastern investors focusing on new partnerships and challenges in sustainable economic and financial developments across markets in the region and getting insights on specific topics like financial inclusion, how to raise capital, the blended finance market, Islamic finance and green investment. It was a rich meeting of minds and I was very happy to have led the panel discussion on SME financing with some very unique challenges in the Middle East and specifically the Gulf market. Next year we hope to increase the size and the reach of the financial institutions’ forum and look forward to welcoming new partners and an expanded offering.
